How we source, verify, and maintain the information published on NursingHomeGuide.sg.
Our principles
Independence
NursingHomeGuide.sg operates independently of all nursing home operators, healthcare groups, and government agencies. No operator, advertiser, or sponsor has any influence over which facilities appear in our directory, how they are described, or how they are ordered in search results. Editorial decisions are made solely by our team.
Accuracy
We source facility information from the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) licensed healthcare institution registers. Where we draw on these sources, we cite them explicitly on the relevant listing or data page. We do not publish claims we cannot trace to a verifiable public source.
Completeness
Our goal is to list every licensed nursing home in Singapore. We do not selectively exclude facilities. The directory reflects the full set of facilities holding a valid licence under the Healthcare Services Act (HCSA) for inpatient care services at the time of the most recent data pull. Pull dates are shown on data pages so readers know when information was last refreshed.
Timeliness
We perform scheduled data pulls from AIC and MOH public registers. The date of the most recent pull is displayed on each listing and on the directory index page. If you believe a listing is outdated, please contact us and we will prioritise a manual review.

What we never publish
- Comparative quality rankings. We do not rank nursing homes by quality, care outcomes, or any composite score. Such comparative claims are restricted under Regulation 14 of the HCSA (Healthcare Services) Regulations and are not appropriate given the limitations of publicly available data.
- Laudatory superlatives on behalf of operators. We do not describe any facility as "the best", "top-rated", "award-winning", or similar unless the claim refers to a specific, independently awarded, publicly verifiable accreditation — cited with source and date.
- Patient or resident testimonials without verified consent. We do not publish testimonials attributed to residents or their families unless we have obtained explicit written consent and can verify the person's identity.
- Clinical outcome data we cannot verify. We do not publish readmission rates, mortality figures, infection rates, or other clinical metrics unless sourced from an official government or accreditation body report, with the source cited.
- Fee schedules we cannot confirm. We do not publish daily or monthly fee figures unless sourced from the facility's own published materials or an official government schedule. Indicative AIC/MOH fee bands are published with a clear note that actual fees vary and must be confirmed with the facility.
Corrections policy
We are committed to correcting factual errors promptly and transparently.
Members of the public
If you believe any information on NursingHomeGuide.sg is inaccurate or out of date, please submit a report using our contact form. Include the facility name, the specific data field in question, and the correct information with a supporting source if possible. We aim to review all correction requests within five business days and will update the listing if the correction is substantiated.
Operators
Operators wishing to update factual details about their facility (address, contact information, licensed services) may use the operator portal. Submissions are reviewed by our team before publication.
What we will not remove
We do not remove accurate, lawfully published information at an operator's request. If an operator believes information is factually incorrect, the corrections process above applies. Requests to suppress accurate information — including accurate Google Maps ratings and factual regulatory information — will not be actioned.
Advertising
NursingHomeGuide.sg may display third-party display advertisements to support the running of the site. The following rules apply without exception:
- All advertisements are clearly labelled as "Advertisement" or "Sponsored".
- Advertisers have no influence over editorial content, listing descriptions, directory rankings, or which facilities appear in the directory.
- We do not accept payment to write, alter, or remove editorial content about any facility.
- We do not accept payment to improve a facility's position in search or directory results.
- Claimed listings (coming soon). Operators will be able to claim their listing to update contact details and add a profile photo. Claimed status does not affect a facility's position in search results, its editorial summary, or any data field sourced from public registers.

HCSA compliance
NursingHomeGuide.sg is an information directory, not a licensed healthcare service provider. We take our obligations under the Healthcare Services Act 2020 (HCSA) and its subsidiary legislation seriously.
- No comparative quality claims. In compliance with HCSA advertising guidelines, we do not publish comparative claims about the relative quality of licensed nursing homes or other inpatient care facilities.
- No unlicensed medical advice. Nothing published on NursingHomeGuide.sg constitutes medical advice. We do not recommend specific facilities for specific medical conditions, and we do not advise on clinical suitability. Readers should consult a qualified healthcare professional for clinical guidance.
- Accurate representation of services. We describe only the services that a facility is licensed to provide. We do not imply that a facility offers services not covered by its current licence.
- Advertising standards. Advertisements displayed on the site must comply with applicable Singapore advertising standards. We do not knowingly display advertisements for unlicensed healthcare services.
