How much does a nursing home in Singapore cost?

Before subsidy, MOH-subsidised homes’ open-ward fees run roughly SGD 2,000–3,600 a month nationwide; private homes cost more. We publish each facility’s own before-subsidy fee where it is verified. Means-tested subsidies (by PCHI) can reduce this substantially.

How do I apply for a subsidy?

Get a referral from a hospital, polyclinic, GP, or medical social worker, then AIC arranges a needs assessment and means test. Call the AIC CareLine at 1800-650-6060.

Do citizens and PRs pay the same?

No. Singapore Citizens receive a higher subsidy than Permanent Residents at every income tier.
